Drop in FREE Community Event. Come and enjoy Tea and Cake and learn about the History and Conservation of Bricket Wood Common. Two Guided interactive family walks are being led around the common by Hertfordshire Natural History Society about What You Can Find on Trees and by a Butterfly Conservation local expert who will be leading a Spring Butterfly Walk. Enjoy a Sunday morning guided walk exploring some of the lesser known paths around Bricket Wood Common. The route will also take us through Jack Williams Wood famous for its outstanding bluebell display at this time of year. The 2018 Fete has been postponed due to reasons the Council did not anticipate and is now expected to take place alongside the Arts Festival on the weekend of 18 & 19 May 2019. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Stalls and attractions including Falconry display and Terrier Racing Fun Dog Show in aid of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People Food and drink - including a BBQ and real ales in the barn All enquiries to fete@ststephenparishcouncil.gov.uk
