Greenwood Park Play Area

The children’s play area is located at the front of Greenwood Park, adjacent to Tippendell Lane. There is car parking either side of the main drive, close to the play area, but if this is full there is also a large car park to the rear of the Community Centre. The fenced play area can be accessed by either of two kissing gates, from the main park. The larger of the two gates is big enough to allow access by wheelchair or buggy.

As part of our five year plan for the play area a new range of equipment was installed over the summer of 2016 which provides exciting and dynamic challenges to a wider range of children up to the age of 14 with capacity for many more children than previously.

This year, 2019, a new range of play equipment for children under 6 years old has been installed on a play sand base
