Woodbury Field public open space is fenced on all sides and is bordered by trees and hedgerows with entrances on West Riding. It is close to Blackgreen Wood where there is a circular woodland walk and a footpath leading to Park Street Lane.

The play area is fenced off within the open space, with entrances from the field, and includes:

  • Toddler swings
  • Roundabout
  • Freestanding slide with mini climbing wall
  • Rocking Horse
  • Spring bike
  • Junior multi-play activity centre

*Dogs are not permitted in the fenced play area.

Additional equipment is located within the larger public open space, along with park benches and a picnic table:

  • Typhoon rotary swing
  • New Street Snooker Wall
  • Hard Surface basketball court with newly installed backboards and hoops

Whilst we do permit responsible dog owners to use the open space, please remember this is still part of the children’s recreation area and accordingly dogs must be kept under control at all times. Ample bins are provided for the responsible disposal of dog waste.

*Assistance dogs are permitted in play areas, but must be kept under control at all times
